If only our airports only had more people like our pit security and gate Nazi's working for them, 9-11 would have never happened!!! Anyway, it is announced over the speaker that after the race all the fans are welcome to go into the pits to see the cars and drivers. Friends and family tell me that they keep announcing it over the speakers, but pit security keeps them out. Can this be checked into please?

Yes, you are allowed to enter the pits once the racing events are over. By over, that means the cars must be off the track, victory lane celebrations included. Up until that point people will be told they can not enter the pits yet. Not sure if the gate keeper informs your fans of that, but its been that way since back in the 80's. Unless you sell your soul to the devil and purchase a pit pass, your grandstand admission doesn't cover the liability of you being in the pits while cars are still on the track or driving through the pits.

Or, more simply, when the cars STOP moving in the pits, the fans can START moving.
