Is the 4cyl enduro that was rained out Saturday night going to be re-scheduled or is the entry fee & the numbers just going to be carried over to the August 6th date??

Track mangement announced they would work through the weekend to rearrange the schedule for rained out events, and make an announcement early this week. None of the events rained out this week will be run this coming Saturday, due to an already full schedule of events.

As announced in this week's edition of "Eye on Riverhead", the 4 cyl enduro rained out this past week will not be rescheduled, but full credit for all who entered will be in effect for the Aug 6th sunday show.

IMPORTANT:

Straight from Bob Finan:

"The 4-Cylinder Enduro will not be made up and all those pre-registered for July 22nd now are automatically credited for the Sunday August 6th race."

What if for some reason you can't make the 6th , could your credit carry over ?

What if for some reason you can't make the 6th , could your credit carry over ? It's worked that way in the past. Call the office and tell them you can't make the 6th and want to use your reg. fee for the next race you can attend.

The same thing happened last year on the 4 cylinders Sat. night race. Why does it always get cancelled instead of postponed. Now we are short a race again this season. :-|

Not to belittle enduro trucks, or any enduro for that matter, but as it gets later in the season, there is less felxibility in the schedule, and not being a 'regular' Saturday night division, it takes less priority in the whole scheme of things when they've suffered 3 rainouts of regular divisions. Some of the Sat. night regulars are also running for regional points, and they need all the races on the schedule they can get.
