It's 6:38PM and raining lightly in Martinsville, which will delay the start of the race for an unknown amount of time. We will keep you updated as conditions change.
Track drying has started at 7:11PM. It's pretty wet, so it may be a while before we get a start.

It was announced at 7:30 that, "We are about 1 hour from a start, as soon as track drying is completed". That's where we stand at the moment.

Track drying is almost complete, with pit road next. All 21 cars entered in the 50 lapper have been moved off pit road, and the tow trucks and emergency vehicles are now lining up to do pit road.
We believe the ambulance was the lap leader at this point, but the fire truck advanced the most positions (according to Walt Newcomb), but we are still arguing about that in the press box as they now enter pit road, LOL. :)

5 car wreck at green in turn 1, yellow out again, involving Mike Andrews and 4 others. Andrews was able to pull away and pit. The others all suffered enough damage to end their chances. Green back out.

Only 14 cars still running.
