I just wanted to send along a get well wish to my son and current Sportsman Champ driver Connor. He was playing in his football league today and was hit with a cheap shot from behind and when he went to protect his fall he broke his wrist pretty bad. He is the toughest kid I have ever met, no pain meds for 4 1/2 hours and not to many tears. Next year we will be karting full time, no more football for him. Get well soon bud.

Hope the little Halpin gets better soon. In racing there's no cheap shots, just dumps, spins, stuffs... Wait maybe there is... At least though that's expected! LOL

Get well soon buddy. Tim, I know that must have killed you sitting on the sidelines, unable to do anything for him. He is one of the toughest I've ever seen, get well soon.

Tim, I hope he heals fast, and the pain is minimal. Sounds like he's probably done with football for now. As long as he's feeling better, that's the important thing.

Just got back from the specialist who said he may only be out 3-4 weeks and he is already asking when he can go back to the football field. The boy is crazy but is not a quitter.

Tim, hope Connor is feeling better and has a quick recovery. It always sucks when the kids get hurt. Glad to hear that he is tough......must take after MOM.

3-4 weeks? Does that include rehab/physical therapy?
Yeah, nobody can call him a quitter, but I guess he also recognizes that a freak accident only happens (hopefully) once. Glad to hear this will only be a small set back for him.

I hope Little Mean Joe Green gets back out there and either wins another kart race or comes back and helps those steelers to a win tonight. Get well soon.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who wished me well. It hurts but I'm tough, so I will be back. Thank you again.

Tim, I hope Connor heals up ok. That is a helpless feeling for a parent, isn't it? But the good thing is he will heal soon, and be back at it. Get well soon, Connor.

From a father that has had a son break his arm 2X and leg once, good luck with the rehab and many doctors visits.

Hope he gets better quick!!
