With White Lake Speedway ending their season this past Saturday, which cancels our scheduled race there on October 7th, and the decision by the drivers this past weekend at Mahoning to have the Shenandoah race be a Non-Points race, this means Mike Renn has clinched the '06 Championship. Congrats to Mike, who deserved it. He has run awesome this year and has done so much for this series. Also congrats to Woot, who had another great year and gave Mike all he could handle for the title. Only 4 points separated them. I ended up third, With Fred Bertrand 4th. First time Fred has finished in the top 5 in points, so Congrats to him on a nice year. Randy Zuidema rounds out the top 5. Congrats to Randy, who came on strong at the end of the year; he is a great racer and he's knocking on the door for a win. John Udes finished sixth. Congrats to John, and Greg Thomas finished 7th. Greg ran really well this year and made a lot of strides. We all hope to see Greg back next year after a tough end to this year. The Championship trophy and celebration will be held at Shenandoah on October 14th. Shenandoah should be a really relaxed fun race. The race track is beautiful and fast, so if you don't have plans, come see us down there on the 14th. :applause:
