In early August I went to Citrus County speedway in Florida to visit with and assist Jimmy Henderickson (the 3rd) with his racecar.
During one of the street stock races, there was a incident between two cars on the track. One of drivers got out of his car and started to punch and whale at a driver still in strapped his car. All of a sudden, a Florida State Cop came out of nowhere on a quad to the the scene of the fight. Next thing I saw was the attacking driver go down on the track. (Thank God he still had his helmet on, as he hit head first). The cop tazered the attacking driver. Once he was quiet, the cop took him away in cuffs! A local told me they do not allow that in Florida, and if you fight, you go to jail!

Our sport only gets regular news time when someone is hurt or killed and when stupid stuff like this happens.

Don't blame the racers, blame the media. :mad: They're always blowing things out of proportion to get ratings. On the other hand, down in Florida the local news has coverage of local racing on the weekends. :applause:

That was different. I downloaded the clip, if anyone who can't see it wants to. I just saw you can't upload video files here. This is normally a streaming clip, so anyone on dial-up probably won't be able to see it. The file is 11meg in size if anyone wants me to email it to them.
