July 10 Races at Mahoning Valley Speedway Rained Out

(LEHIGHTON, PA 7-10-10) Mahoning Valley Speedway has cancelled its racing program for this evening, July 10, due to rain.

With a big 100 lap Modified feature plus the addition of the EXCEL 600cc Modifieds headlining the card, it was the right decision on the part of management to not take a chance and risk only a partial or even no show at all.

Hand 2 of the Modified 7 Card Stud Poker Series will now move to next Saturday night, July 17. The 100-lap feature will pay $3000 to win.

Also on the line up that evening will be the Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, Pro4 Late Models and 4c Super Mods.

In addition the first 250 adults via the grandstands will receive a free Saturday, July 31 admission ticket to Pocono Raceway which includes final practice for the NASCAR Sprint Cup cars, qualifying for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and race as well as the ARCA Series race.

Next Saturday’s racing at Mahoning Valley gets underway starting at 6:00 p.m., grandstands open at 4:00.

Mahoning Valley Speedway, run under the direction of the husband and wife team of Doug and Gena Hoffman, is located on PA route 443, two miles west of Lehighton.
