there ya go critter my progress!
huge thanx to my brother on the welding and fab work!
:lol:I'll get some today. Mine looks sort of like yours, with most of the bars tacked in place. I'm still waiting on a new (used) seat so I can't get everything welded yet just in case I have to change the mounting. It should be ready for paint in about two weeks if everything goes as planned.
:confused:For some reason I can't get my pictures to upload. Anybody got any ideas? I don't see a help button on the forum.:*-(
OK, got em now!
damn jay you go all out. my cars usually have a main hoop and 1 door bar haha
lol yeah its built so i can run mountain regular 4cyl division or pro4s at mvs with only addin the front hoop in engine bay and other motor
i might be picking up a 91 honda prelude si soon if everything works out
looking good guys, the zoom zoom looks the same added a few more bars inside , 64 car all new , 22 car still the same
We had a very productive day at the dx shop, cage is done in the 00 cage ias welded in the 64,seat is mounted, doors welded shut and rub rails are on
i'm sure pictures will be posted later by the little bro
thanks to bigdaddys daddy ,well cant seem to upload pics ill will get them up soon
I hung new doors, fenders, and hood. Some new metal on the quarters. New radiator support. New ball joints, center link. Still have to run new brake lines, install front and rear brakes, rear axle seals and wheel cylinders. The rear bumper cover is on. Have to put the front one on and I will be ready for paint.
Will try to get some pics of the progress.
cant seem to upload pics any one else having this issue ???
Yup, JA has been working on that since the upgrade. Forum and classified pictures can not be posted at this time.

I didn't get much done to the old #47 this weekend.:lol::lol:
YEAH I finally got my brothers out of the garage and mine in the garage! They even tried deploying the airbags, needless to say it didnt work. Better luck next weekend!:applause:
so how far did u get there punchy ? hey poppop car is loaded up all ready ? and i thought i wanted to be there first lol
:)That's the old car. It needs a tire change and alignment and it's good to go.The other one's still in the garage. Look back a few days and you can see the pictures. I just edited them into the old post. I know, not your style.
wow new car is looking good and your right not my style , lol
Well so far the inside is gutted, lights are all out, rollcage sitting outside waiting to be put in, hopefully this weekend, depends on how fast the guys work  Hope it doesnt give us any problems!
You work on the car and I will go sledding with the girls
HAHA Hessy asked me if you were going to help on my car, I told him you might only to tell everyone you did! Yeah you go sledding then you wont show up the next day because you :wave:will be too sore!
Critter.....going back a few posts....
You said "64 looking good, windshield in".....you do mean windshield OUT....right?
No glass at Grandview....$1,000 fine for breaking glass at the speedway!
Poppop, I got to ask, what is going on with the river side door bars on that blue car? Nice bends, Nice welds, but I'm trying to figure out where you are going.
no glass lol i meant the racin one , duh , lots of snow i think the zoom zoom mught have to come out lol
thats a good answer poppop , that why i added more bars to the zoom zoom , really did it so when they roll in front of me then can go over me lol
:lol:If youre going to talk the talk you gotta walk the walk I always say.
Adding bars is never a bad thing....however...
1) Make sure you are within the allowable limits that the rules state....between center-line of front and rear axles..
2) Make sure the bars you are adding are there for a reason and are properly installed! Adding 12 bars in various locations that you believe will help might help if the rest of the cage is constructed properly...if not, you will be adding nothing more than a pretty addition to your cage!
Keep in mind the direction of the bars and the possibility of a freak accident....you don't want sharp edges with bad welds facing the driver's seat....possibly impaling the driver if something weird were to happen....
All in all, we've said it before....we will not penalize a driver for over-protection. You can install the most durable, over-the-top, extravagant roll cage known to man without being penalized....so long as it conforms to the rules. Hollow bars and proper location.
well the 64 and the 00 are ready to go to the mall thurs ,then to the track
As soon as i figure out how to send them i got some progress pics. Car gets paint the 13th.
sounds good jag ,cant wait to see the pics , see ya on the track:cool:
