Who drove this car?
Just a guess - was that Dondi?
This was one of my favorite cars of all time.
I think Dondi (the upholstery guy.... I never knew his real name as I always recall him being referred to as that.) built the car with Artie Tappen, who drove the car a bit at first, but then once it got sorted out Dondi was the driver.
