Is it imperative that we race Saturday and not Sunday? The weather is showing 100% chance of rain on Sat. and nothing but sun on Sunday. I'm going either way, but rain stinks...

Tomorrow: Rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High around 50F. SSE winds shifting to W at 15 to 25 mph. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected. Locally heavier rainfall possible.

Sunday: Rain and snow showers early; windy. Highs in the low 40s and lows in the low 30s.

Yeah, leaving the wipers on the car seems like the thing to do.

Man, I'm glad I moved to Florida. I'm running the 150 lap enduro at Citrus County Speedway, and the weather report says partly cloudy and 75 degrees.

Just wait untill you strap yourself in the car on a "Brisk" saturday night in July, you are going to hate life more than ever during that 90 deg 85% humidity night.

As for the Sunday thing, Saturday's work better for me due to the fact that I fly out Sunday's, but we have a schedule that people have made plans around and it's a good idea to stick with it.

    Cool Sunday instead of Saturday

    It just doesn't matter!
    Let me rephrase that.
    It JUST DOESN'T MATTER!!!
If we change the race to Sunday, then Saturday will turn out sunny and Sunday will get rain/snow.
I'm just glad we race no matter what. Just think, if we cancelled events due to rain, we would be cancelling our third event in a row.

What if the 4cyl runs first, since it's going to rain hard early in the day and they're front wheel drive; well, most are. They can keep the track somewhat dry for the rear wheel drive cars.

Hmmm...Uncle Petey thinking of going to Fla. to race? If you worry about the toll curtain, wait until you get "DQ'ed" somewhere in S.C. or GA in one of their infamous speed traps, LOL!!!
