I was going to build my own last year after running in the stock 8's for a 2 years (Always the 2nd race) but due to some family issue didn't run at all last year. Looking forward to running this year, but before I start building, just wondering if anyone was selling a Grand? Doesn't have to have a legal engine, I already have an engine builder. Lou

Still debating.... thinking on converting one of our motors to a "GRANDS LEGAL" motor. More than likely we'll be out there.

I sure can answer that for Uncle Petey!!!! BECAUSE, he is there for the fun and thrill of racing with his friends. He doesn't mind getting DQ'd, he has more trophys than Tony Stewart, and you cant take back those 50 laps he just ran with a smile!!! He doesn't come out here for $180.00 prize and a $15.00 trophy.. He comes out to see his friends, BBQ with us at my house and race.. Oh yeah, and see the Bumpies! (they just told me to write that).. Mr Fields, I think that answers the "why bother part"..
