I heard that over the winter from who I think is a good source, i guess time will tell. It would be nice to see the missle run the tour in 07.

Good news I guess but no net gain in the car count. I wish some moneyed
up $$$ driver/owner would call Mike Boehler. Mods without this team just

it would SUCK w/o ol blue on the tour, any tour been a big fan of the team for over 30 years. It's to bad that money is king in all forms of motorsports.

Heard that Robbie Summer is building a super....... anyone have any truth to that?

Robbie is going to be driving for Howie Lane this season in Super's along with driving the 1 car on the tour.

I talked to several people at the show, associated with both the 3 and 4. Heard various versions of ideas about what may happen in 2007. Unfortunately I have no "scoop" to report.
As Ben said, Rob Summers will be in Howie's super, but I didn't ask about how much of the ISMA schedule he would be doing.
Lane Racing is having a new super built. Rob will be team mates with John McKennedy (sp?) who is running for rookie of the year. It's a strong team and it's the one that Bobby Santos III drove for, and TC drove for at stafford. I heard when Rob got out of the super for the first time he was speachless. I think everyone should have at least 1 tour car and 1 super in their gararge!
actually John Mckennedy won the ISMA rookie of the year back in 2005 driving for team dunigan and he ran the whelen tour last year part time along with the TVMRS part time

Tried to get some more info from Mario tonight, but he was very tighted lipped and just laughed at ech question I asked..... guess we are in a wait and see hold pattern.
