    SAFER Banquet

    Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out last night to help celebrate dads championship. Hope everyone had a good time...


    And I Just wanted to thank Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Long Island for all they have done for the Fig8's

    Oh, and by the way, Fred I third your feelings, it was great. I was totally shocked and over overwhelmed. Johnny was such a good friend. We had so many fun and crazy times together back when he lived across the street from me. Johnny always came across as this fun loving, happy go lucky guy, but besides that he was a very good person. This is a true honor for me.

    First vid is showing now. I put big brothers sisters in the Tags and I see lots of videos having to do with Big Brothers Big Sisters and showing up as relative videos. That also means mine will show up as realative to them. Youtube is rather slow. I uploaded 8 videos.

    Great video, Rick, thanks for posting them so quickly. Everybody who missed the SAFER Banquet should watch them, so maybe next year you'll need a bigger venue to hold the banquet.

    I have been to many a Banquet, for many tracks, divisions and touring series. The S.A.F.E.R. Banquest, by far is the best. You could even hear the speeches because of the mutual respect that club has for each other.

    Next year the big room.

    And if the day ever comes that the figure 8's are gone or have no place to race, the S.A.F.E.R. banquet could become the Figure 8 Reunion Banquet.
