    James Civali Takes the Icebreaker

Richie Grodski just sent me word that James Civali took the checkers while Chuck Hossfeld would take runner-up. The race from what I hear had plenty of action to start off the year. More to come...

Congratulations to Don, James and the King Racing Team!

Good race run by Civali, kept his nose clean and let the race come to him. Certainly didn't pay to be in the top 5 during the race as several accidents/mechanical issues plaqued several guys running in the top 5 throughout the event.

They had trouble with the left front tire which ended up being totally out of round. As soon as they got back on track and the car was fine, it looked as though the right front suspension came apart. It looked like the lower ball joint broke loose.

Too bad for Mike and the Flamingo team. They looked like they had a great piece.

A good job by James, let the race come to him. Chuck made a good showing look to see the 79 team in victory lane this year. A good day of racing and plenty of sun shine to boot, what more could you ask for
