Are these results official or are we going to adhere to the tracks ruling (Mike a lap down)?

Hey Adam

I think we will have a meeting at Wall about this. For those who don't know, Mike Renn crossed the line second, but the track put him down a lap for working on his car during a red, which would have put him back in 5th spot. The track didn't tell us what happened and we didn't find out till after we left.

It was determined at Wall this weekend that the penalty to Mike Renn at Shenandoah will be enforced. The track had blacked flagged him for working on the car under a red, but there was a lot of confusion at the track as Mike finished second. Mike will now be in 5th, where the track had him scored, and will get 5th place points for that race. Mike is good with this.
