    Howie & Mary's 44th..

    Our very own Mary and Howie Hodge will be celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary on Friday, May 18th:

    Howie: If you're planning on breakfast in bed for your bride, may I suggest removing the batteries from the smoke detectors!

    Mary: If you see Howie entering with a tray bearing food, please keep 911 on speed dial!

    All kidding aside, Happy Anniversary to Mary & Howie. I can't wait to see TBax's anniversary cake!

    Happy 44th Anniversary to Mary & Howie...may you have many more to celebrate together!! Doesn't look like it's going to be good day weather wise, so maybe a little candlelight dinner would be nice for the celebration

    Thanks for all the well wishes and congrats everyone. We had a nice relaxing day and an Outback dinner. Ironically the day we got married the weather was cold and rainy, just like today. Forty four years seems like a long time (ok, it is a long time), but we've had a lot of fun and hope to have many more together. Only TBax could have found a Nikon cake!! Thanks everyone!! See you at the races!!

    I did some quick math, and it brings a tear to my eye to think of how sweet it was for that nice young Mary, just a girl at the time, to wed Howie, who must have been pushing 50 ...

    Just kidding Mr. H ... Very, very happy for the both of you. Two of the most special people in our little corner of the racing world.
