    Time Trials this week

I've been informed that the LM's are not running heat races this week, but time trials instead for the 25 (30 laps??) single points race.
Hopefully this will help the racing to improve.

If this is true, I'm a fan. It might mean a couple less passes, but believe me, the race will be better.

Wow the track is listening to the drivers. I want to thank whoever is responsible for this. This is the first time I ever heard the drivers speaking up and the track doing something about it. Well, second, they added a Charger race this year. Now hopefully the Late Models will put a great show.

I hope Mike Andrews is able to step up this week in the car. He hasn't done too well in the previous races, sorry but guess J-Rod feels more comfortable in the seat. Get well buddy.

Peter, it may take Mike Andrews a little while to get used to the LM. Not too many drivers can hop into someone else's hot rod and immediately do well. Michael has demonstrated his ability in Modifieds. A Late Model is a whole different animal.

Looking foward to TT's for the late models to see less cautions and better action on the track.

I missed last night how was the race?

Only 11 cars TT, should have been pretty tame.

    11 cars, wow.

While there were yellows, they were not for the usual reasons, and it was a decent race for a change. Hopefully, continuing this will help end the carnage of past weeks and bring good racing back to this fine division.

Although I HATE watching time trials, the race was actually very good for the Late Models... I say let them continue time trialing. It will save on the carnage for the feature and the heats, and reduce costs a bit so more can jump in.
