    Just a Thought

Are there any Blunderbust teams interested in a meeting of drivers/owners,as a group to talk about 2008? We can discuss concerns about OUR division and anything else as long as it remains positive.

Let me know. I am willing to arrange the meeting at a centrally located place. (Well maybe not totally centralized, but I will try).

Just e-mail me or PM me and if there is enough interest, I will set it up.

I have some ideas regarding the future. Things like a divisional sponsor, race sponsors, awards and recognition.

I am sure there will be "finger sandwiches", but let's stay positive and hopefully those who like "finger sandwiches" will eat them in the car on the way to the meeting.

Hey, sounds like a good idea. I am in with my buddy, I have a shop in W Babylon we can use if you like. It is off SS Pkwy exit 35 or 36.

Hey Joe, it sounds like an idea. Ron Langdon had a meeting quite a few years back and it worked well. What ideas do you have? Is it going to be something that the officials would listen to? Let me know, I'd like to hear what everyone has to say.

About half the drivers have contacted me, so I will make arrangements this week and post it here on the JAM. Two teams have stepped up and offered their places.

Remember, the plan for this meeting is to be positive and to look forward, not backwards. I had the opportunity to speak with some of you at Thompson this weekend and the response is pretty positive.

Do I see a new club forming? S.A.B.R., (Suffolk Association of Blunderbust Racing...only kidding.)

Hey Guys maybe before we meet get some stuff said before we start. I myself am not into a ***** fest. I had a great time last year and am looking foward to doing it again with my partner. So, if there is something you think would make this division better, let's hear it,

Only one thing comes to mind. Myself being fresh out of the enduro division, I would like to just see more laps. I'm only just getting warmed up after 20 laps (kidding). And if you want to get a little crazy, how about losing some weight. 4200 lbs? lol just kidding, but more laps would be cool.. and promote give and take.

    Libra, now that sounds good.

Hey Tstiles, you definitely need more laps. I remember a night when you were driving our car and I kept asking, "When's he gonna go?" When it was over you said, "That's it?"

I think 25- 30 laps would be perfect without dragging the night on. Lighter, hmmm? Maybe the weight keeps the speed down and more door to door action? Well that's a start, keep it comin'.
