NELMA Schedule - Oct. 20

Since many requested this, here is our tentative schedule for October 20th

Saturday, October 20, 2007

9AM: Pits Open
9:30AM-11AM: Tech/Registration
11AM-11:30AM: Late Model practice (hot pits)
11:30AM-12:00noon: Street Stocks & Truck practice
12:00noon-12:30PM: Late Model “Happy Hour” Practice
12:45PM: Drivers Meeting
1:15PM: LM Qualifying (time trials)
2PM: Heats – Street Stocks & Trucks
Consis (if needed): Street Stocks, Late Models, Trucks
4PM: Features
Trucks – 25 laps
Late Model Challenge – 100 laps
Street Stocks – 75 laps

Reminder: there is NO Friday Night practice.

Good to see the defending champ back. The big question is, will NY keep up the streak of winners of the Late Model Challenge, or will PA finally fight off the invaders. Make sure you are there to see the outcome, as you can't get this drama and excitement on TV!

Only rule changes for the cars are any that have been changed for your local track rules. Otherwise status quo...

There are slight procedural changes, but very slight and will be discussed during the driver's meeting.

Kinda sounds a little like last year. Between 2 cars, you should be able to get one ready. Just busting. Wish I was going. Not too much racing over here in the Far East

The only problem is, this time it's the truth! It's 7:30 Thursday night and we still haven't worked on the car. We're officially not racing.

What are you talking about Dynamite?.... Hope it's a rumor, because anyone except J-Rod driving that car just isn't kosher!.... Betsy (car's name) doesn't run right with anyone else at the keyboards!

I have been questioned by some people who said they have heard rumors that the NELMA race was postponed. I just got off the phone with JA, who is up at Mountain already. As of right now (8:41 pm Friday), the race is absolutely NOT postponed. The weather forecast right now is looking good for tomorrow, so we hope to see you up there!
