    Register your number

Not everyone may know this, but the track is taking reservations for numbers for the Legends Cars. If you plan on running at any point during the year and have a number you just can't live without, call the office and get it reserved. It's first come, first served, so don't complain to the office if you call and a number is not available.
You will also need an INEX license to compete, as the races will be sanctioned events. You can go to 600racing.com and download the forms. If purchased before Jan. 1, you can save $25. While there is no rush to get them, you will need them by the practice days.

Called the office. They told me that numbers from the last time the Legends ran.. can still keep their numbers. First come? Doesn't seem right.

I'm sorry about that Bryan. If I knew that, I would have included that in my post. Didn't think they would even have that information available. So I stand corrected. If you competed in the Legends division in previous years, it appears you will get preference to your old number.
Again, sorry if I created any confusion.

    Tom...

Didn't think they had that info still, but they actually still do. I am waiting for a confirmation back from the Riverhead office on car number availability... Will keep everyone updated...
    Thanks,

Bryan called office today to find out about numbers. If you ran before, your number is yours, so #25 is my number for 2008 season,

I know you need an INEX license to race. Do you also need to get a NASCAR one on top of that, because I know that's what Riverhead requires to get into the pits. If anyone could clarify it, it would be appreciated.

    license

I was told that the Inex license was the only one that we will need (not the Nascar) that came from Walter.
