Hey everyone, let's let Joe do his job. He knows everyone is very interested to know what kind of progress is being made, and where are we gonna race at. We just have to be patient and put our faith in him to GiTTer DuN.
In the meantime, why doesn't everyone start building more cars and spread the word to get others to build cars. If anyone can't find a car or can't afford to spend very much, you can contact me and I can help with getting a car. Keep in mind that you may have to spend a few more dollars in building the car in case of any rule changes. Most changes, if any, I am sure would be safety related. So it would only be for your own good.
Let's look at it this way - let's say we are a club. Well, others are starting to build their own clubs, we want our club to be the biggest and they best. Why? Because we want our club to be the one that everyone wants to be in, and join. So what do we do as drivers (members)? We RECRUIT. We spread the word that our club is the best, and we build more cars to strenghten it. So bottom line is BUILD MORE CARS! No matter what our fate is, we must have faith in our leader. Joe, put up a car entry list after New Years on the website, and by the end of March, I would like to see well over 100+ cars signed up in both the 8's, the 4's, and the trucks.

Not trying to be negative, but I would hate to get a car ready, then find out that the new track is 4 hours or so from my house.
This is business, and the drivers are the ones paying to race. We need to know. I want to race with neets, no doubt about it, but either way I would like to start planning my own 2008 season. Not knowing when or where is starting to get old.
Hurry up Joe,
We all want our Christmas gift to come early!!

I'm with PETEY "UNCLE that is" with the floating track idea. Next will be Hum wherever we drift!.. Bunch of scalleywags anyway. When not racing, we can catch up on our suntans.
I just got off the phone with my buddy, and he said that NEETS was going to 5 Mile Point Speedway in New York. Any truth to this? That is a nice dirt track that we can tear up.
Everyone, PLEASE be patient! There is more than one track that we're looking into. There is a lot to all of this and it's going to take some time. Erin and Joe are doing the best they can and will give us an answer as soon as something is CONCRETE in writing.
Cory, as for no answer yet getting "old", you certainly don't want to be told one thing just to shut you up, then it falls through, then how would you feel? Pretty ticked off I would think. We are going to give you time to get your car ready no matter what track we are going to before we have the first race. If you think Joe and Erin are happy about not being able to give you an answer yet, you are wrong. It's not by choice they won't answer you, they CAN'T answer you yet. I hope you understand that because Santa doesn't like a pouter, so please be good for goodness sakes! Thank you for your patience!

Looks like a bag of coal for the 1x team this year. hehee
Please don't mistake my excitement for negativity. I wouldn't be such a pain in the a$$ if I didn't like neets as much as I do. If anything, I'm worried about the new track being too far away for me to race with you guys.
Well, Nick, I hope your "source" of information is incorrect, or I hate to say I will NOT be joining you guys for the 2008 season like I planned. This would be a nearly an 8 hr round trip for me... and I don't think my dad, or myself, is up for a four hr trip at 6:30 in the morning...plus not getting home until around 9 ish. So if this is the case...again I hope not, then good luck to everyone that will be racing with NEETS in the future, and Thanks to Joe, Erin, and Billy and everyone else for treating everyone like their own family and everything they did for this series, and for helping me get my feet wet in racing...
P.S. If anyone is looking for a four cylinder car half stripped out nearly race ready, please email me. It is a 1992 Plymouth Laser...
I find that your selfish mind is a place to hide when you know what you are doing is wrong
Remember what happened last year before they got Mahoning Valley . Just be patient. All good will come to those who wait.
Have a great Holiday everyone!!!!

I still think the barge thing could be an instant success...and we could become "International NEETS" if we race 20 miles off shore, hehe............
Plus, we would never have to worry about a place to have our combination cruise, banquet and floating casino....................
UNCLE PETEY................
No matter how much you all ask about it here, you will still have to wait until Christmas morning to unwrap your present from NEETS!
As of right now, no on the 5 Mile Point. I can give you all that much...
Cory, you're not a pain...but I still like keeping you in suspense!!!

Let's make a deal, let Joe tell me which track it is before X-mas , and I'll promise not to win ALL the races next year HEHEE!

So I guess NEETS isn't going to run at Mahoning again then, since you are looking for a new track. What happened with all of that? Just curious.
