Is it mandatory to run wrist restraints in the legends class at Riverhead??
I have inquired about this, and I've been advised that arm restraints (if that is, in fact, what you are questioning) will not be mandatory at Riverhead in 2008. Hope that helps!

There was a wrech 2 years ago in Va where a legend rolled down the frontstrech, the driver had no gloves or arm restraints. His arms got out the window and rolled over. Broken wrist & nast road rash. It was in Speedway Illustrated a few months later. Saftey is not the place to pinch pennies.

I was planning on running them due to the small cage factor. I use them in the champ cart so I alreadty have a set.
