Why dont you all come race the New Egypt Enduros - next race is June 8th.
Seems to me most of the Neets cars have not raced yet, except a select few at Mountain and maybe Riverhead. Maybe running a race at New Egypt will get you prepped for Grandview. 4 point swingset cage needed. 8 cylinders move gas tank to back seat, 4 cylinders leave gas tank where it is. Up to date seat belts, and go racing.

What about the expensive roll cage padding New Jersey will require after June 1st?

You won't need any padding if you don't have bars near the driver. We're planning on running at NES as soon as we can scrape up $800 for new harnesses, nets, helmets, and nomex underwear. In the meantime Big Diamond is lighter on the wallet and a fine warm-up for Grandview.
