Jake had heard they may cancel so I just called the track and they said they are considering it and will post their decision on their website. If they do go with the show it will probably be like our last Thompson race when the hurricane came through. They were able to complete the races on Sunday, they started by points, but we missed the heats except the SK's.

The schedule has been changed per SMS website. There will be no Friday activities, gates will open at 7:00 AM Saturday to all teams.

If this entire weekend is a washout, the rain date is October 10-12.

Might be a tough pill to swallow for me. Home opener for hockey up here is the 11th. I can miss the game on the 12th, but the 11th is going to be harder for me to pass up.

I'm going with both. The only game I really want to go to is the one on Saturday. I could care less about Sunday; I'd be too busy to go to said hockey game.
