    Sad News from Carmen Racing....

Ford Taurus, 91 was laid to rest on Saturday November, 15th at Einfalt Recycling & Salvage in Stockertown, PA. It had numerous collisions sustained recently while racing and couldn't continue on despite numerous attempts to make it better.

Although small in engine size as a 3 Liter, Taurus (also known as #57) was a decent performer at Mahoning Valley Speedway (Lehighton, PA), Mountain Speedway (St. John's, PA), Big Diamond Raceway (Minersville, PA) and Grandview Raceway (Bechtelsville, PA) during the 2007 and 2008 Season.

In 2007, Taurus has won the best decorated car award during the Labor Day Junk a Thon, a top ten finish, as well as top 10 in points with NEETS- Holiday Stock Car Series at Mahoning Valley Speedway.

Last month, Taurus was able to pull off a Top 10 finish despite it's dwindling health at Big Diamond Raceway.

Mourning Survivors are the drivers, Larry Carmen and Tracy Berger- Carmen (Husband and Wife) both of Bath, PA.

The newest addition to the Carmen Racing family, Ford Thunderbird, 94 will take over the responsibilities of Ford Taurus for the 2009 racing season.

Don't get "down in the dumps" about your "found on road dead" enduro...................................
Your "dead returned on foot"(ford spelled backwards) is taking a chinese cruise and will get a nice warm welcome as it is melted down to make replacement brake rotors for your T-bird.................
Just remember! On a quiet night you can actually hear a ford RUST...............
    UNCLE PETEY.....................
Hey! Whats up.............my smiles ain't working...............
