    Those are a nice group of photos.
    Why someone had to play editor on the last one with #1 and #7-11 by painting in the side of the 7-11 car is beyond me.
    Here are a few more originals of the 7-11.

    the pits were moved in either 54 or 55 after a few wrec ks in turn 1 my dad was in 1 of the wrecks

    THese are really cool pictures, the wall was really not much of a wall was it. You know I always thought that the pits would be better in the front so the world could see all the activity going on. You say they had a couple of accidents so they moved them, what happened?

    I love looking at these old pictures.
