I am surprised that after pumping up this race, not one PR from yesterday was put out on qualifying. Sorry we didn't get to have someone there as most are at Rhode Island....Hope to have race summary tonight....we will see....

Decent race. A Little excitement not much. Jay Foley got into Tony Hanbury early..

Brunnhoelzl was a man on a mission this afternoon. Car looked really good. He ran down Silk during the race before the pit stop. After the pit stop it looked as if Brunnhoelzl layed back a little and got in close to Silk. A few lap cars got in the way and Silk made contact with the 15 car of Daryl Krentz. 15 car spun and collected another lap car and Brunnhoelzl. He did get his car back out and I don't think you could go a lap down under caution.. and came back through the field. Silk looked to have things wrapped up and Hirschman came out of nowhere really and took home the checkered flag. 59 79 5 28 14 71 is where I saw everyone... ASA could have things a little different. A lot of cars were a lap down.. hard to tell. Burt Myers went a lap down after not pitting with the rest of the field. Wish I had a rundown guys..... just trying to fill ya in on what I saw. That's all that sticks out in my mind though. A lot of good battles back in the field...

Here's the results I picked up in the pits. Pretty good race, lots of fighting and bumping going on throughout the field. I just went through 457 pictures I took and now i'm writing the story on it.......it may be tomorrow LOL.

Thanks for the finish. Noticed probably 4 of the top 5 won't do the whole tour. Not sure on Bertuccio, maybe he will.

How was the crowd? Looks like a lot of fans diguised as empty seats.

It was my first time at the track but I'd describe the crowd as very light. Some locals we sat next to said it was a "pretty large crowd" compared to normal.

Don't know why it was such a low turnout. It's a very nice track. Good racing. Great weather. $20 admission. Maybe it's the recession. I hope next weekend at South Boston will be better.

Wow!! I can't believe that tiny crowd. I would have loved to make it myself but it wasn't in the cards. If these people knew what a long hard winter was maybe that would be different. They need some Oswego Co. Lake Effect, that will fix them. (lol) Mods don't sell in NC? doesn't seem right. Looking at the pics I get a Holland Speedway feel for the place. I just put it on my "bucket list".

Crowd was better than what you will see at Caraway this upcoming weekend. I thought it was a decent crowd.

I thought it was a decent crowd, too. Sat beside a local guy who said it was a big crowd.
