    Southern Tour season opener

sooooo, I understand it's a 3 day event? Fri park, Sat practice/qual, Sun race for $2000 to win. Is someone at NASCAR trying to kill the southern tour first?

let me help 'yall out. buy an SK motor, come north to Waterford's speedbowl the last weekend in March and race for just 2 days for $5000 to win.

also heard the southern teams are now running the same compound as we ran up north last year. hope no one stock piled last years tires.

Shadow is correct. It is a three day event from what I understand.

Tech, NASCAR Licenses, park the haulers and stuff like that Friday. Saturday, Practice and Qualify. And Sunday race. And yup for 2,000 bucks. And I hear to gate fee is gonna be high for BOTH days... We'll have to see about that.. Maybe Corey17 will know.. he loves Caraway

Such a waste to. We goto Caraway 7 times a year and can get this show done in one day.. Why not now?

Shadow: It would be nice if the TV Tour could pay that purse. The TV Tour only pays about halve the purse of the WSMT.

    Purse for 2008
    1st - $1,300
Total payout - $13,775 Thats if 26 cars show.
The TV Tour is hopeful of purse increase in 2009.
