As mentioned in another thread, we were not down south this weekend, except for photos, as it is Easter tomorrow. As soon as the finish is sent, it will be posted on the front page....

The 28 was bumping.....not hard enough or too hard depending of what side of the fence you are on.

From what I saw TC didnt block and or chop, chop, chop. The 28 got a wheel under the 00 and got loose then over corrected and lost it on the back stretch. Its called hard racing...........

I'm curious, You're a race driver and your screen name is "bulldozer". Is there a connection? Sorry, I had to ask.

Naw, Chris isn't his pops hahahah just kidding bro!
Some of the northern boys still showing the north always wins! Two of them regulars this season will be George and J.R., who had his second top 10 in the past two races. He finished 5th last race and 6th this race, not bad for not having a lot of track time at those tracks at high speed. Took George awhile to get his legs under him and now he's running pretty good.

From that video, TC did nothing wrong.

    FYI
There are quite a few people on this forum that are also drivers - some even run modifieds. And Howie was just having a little innocent fun with the username thing, no need to get defensive and throw your resume in his face.

After watching the video, it definetly looks like that any contact that might have sent the #28 spinning was incidental. There's a possibility that the #28 didn't spin on his own, but there was no chopping or blocking involved that triggered the spin. As stated before, it was an end result of hard racing.

Everyone has their viewpoints and opinions, but not everyone has 20/20 vision...

When you watch the video where the #28 comes to rest there is a blue/yellow panel truck parked in the infield. I was standing on top of a truck to the left of that tow vehicle and watched this incident with my own eyes. There was no "hard contact" period in any way, shape, or form. The #28 got a good run under TC near the apex of one and two. (FYI: I'm far from a TC fan just for the record) TC did what the car on the outside should do in short track racing... try to use as much track as possible to stop the guy on the inside from getting a good run off from the bottom and drifting up. Was there some initial contact? ... I can't say for sure. It was close. The cars were still in the corner and were still angled coming out of the turn at that point to my perspective. So TC took away the outside line forcing the 28 car to pinch his car to keep it down and got him loose is all. It's that simple. Then the 28 simply could not save the car and it came around and stopped about 20ft just past where I was standing.

What happened here was the essense of what short track racing in based on. How much track will the outside car give or take in relation to the car on the car on inside. If you give to much the car on the inside has the advantage and then its a drag race to the next turn and get ready for the patented cross-over move if the inside car runs it in really deep.
But now these days.... it's more of bump him out of the way to get him loose and then pass rather than what happened Saturday night. If the 28 could have made it stick then it would have been interesting in turns three and four. Knowing TC was getting loose.
