Both of our cars are ready pretty much. Tonight I cut some new vinyl pieces to fill in where my numbers got rubbed off by other cars. Only thing left really is put some gas in it and load it up for sunday

I hate last minute things... I went to get my good car ready and it keeps overheating, so I am now quickly piecing my backup car together.

Just a quick check on overheating. If you have a thermostat in it, make sure it's not stuck and also take it out and see if the water flows with the cap off. Eliminates stuck thermostat and a shot water pump. Also check lower radiator hose, occasionally the wire inside rots and they collapse and it will overheat because water won't circulate when on the gas. Simple check, try and squeeze it. If soft and can squeeze it easily, that's the problem.

Old modifieds never die.........They just get updated.........
Well I know its not the thermostat, I tried 3 different ones, but I will try the other things this week, the backup car is pretty much ready to go so i will be racing that.

My car is gassed up and loaded on the trailer.
Lucky it has a tarp on it though, raining pretty good right now.
