    100 Feature wins

Congratulations to Roger Maynor for winning 100 figure8 feature races.
I am looking into seeing if this has ever been done at any other figure8 tracks.
    Hope to know soon.
    Way to go

Congratulations Roger, Artie, Dewey and the rest of the crew over the years. Hey, I remember before there were any.

dad didnt want to win this way at all, and even emotional for arne cause he earned that win. dad wanted arne to keep the trophy but he wouldnt except it. it stinks there is no other word for disqualified because in our eyes arne was legal to start and won fair and square.

Kraft and dad spun ....after seeing the video w dad today from lafilms it looked as though my dad did get into Kraft unintentionally tried to back off and actually had gotten hooked where my dad thought he was getting pushed from behind from the 66 as he went around as well. but it was the b 9 pulling him cause they were hooked, is why they both went around.

Just to clear something else up too.the 66 was sent to the rear because of going underneath cones. even though it was to avoid an accident he still got penalized for it.

    LEARN.... FROM YESTERDAY,
    LIVE.... FOR TODAY,
    HOPE....FOR TOMORROW

Leah, exactly the way it looked to us. It was a racing accident and nothing else, but we wondered if Tom and your dad would have made it through the turn okay without the extra push from the 66. Who knows, they might have stayed hooked together then too which could have been worse. I told Tommy on the phone today I felt bad for Arne as he did win that and I really doubt the weight would have made any difference but I also felt bad for Roger as I know he didn't want to win it that way and not be able to really celebrate such an accomplishment on the track after the race.
