Being the big Southern Showtime fan, this sucks. I really enjoyed watching him. I personally loved his driving style, and personality. The Dutch Inn last year in Martinsville was a blast.

But I do respect that he has a family, and family business to take care of.

I didn't think Lia had anything left. Brandon Ward has the last modified he had to my knowledge. Could be wrong though..

WOW, hate to see this and I hope Showtime comes back soon. Roco can get up on the wheel pretty good, hope he does well.

    Thumbs up

Keith is the real deal. With a little experience he's going to open a few eyes.

Best of luck to Jimmy and his family.

There is no better young driver out there right now looking to get into the WMT than Rocco. Before the Hirschman/Hossfeld fans start bemoaning another ride lost for the 2 of them, I think this kid is lightning in a bottle and it'll be fun to watch him get behind TC for the lead at Thompson. He is almost a younger version of Jimmy - whooping up on the locals, a father who was one of the best drivers of his time and is able to work on the cars as well. It's more of what took so long to get him in a seat.

The 12 this season has been not quite as good as normal so a change may do everyone some good.

I applaud Ed Partridge for going with Keith. He is an up and coming driver that just needed a chance and what an opportunity he has. He will be exciting to watch.

My daughter Brittany is a huge fan of Jimmy's and I know she will miss listening to Jimmy and Freddie on her headset. She always laughs at the two of them. I hope for the best for Jimmy and his family. I have always said family comes first. I'm sure it was a hard decision.
