anyone know what they would do if it rains out tommorrow.would they run us on sunday and still keep the 19th the same. or would they use the 19th to finish the points races,then run the money races on the 26th?

i am confused about all this point stuff. all divisions are racing for points this week. the mods cant because a nascar thing. dont the late models and chargers get a check from nascar? and if they do then why can't the mods?

Chargers and Late Models are not in regional points. Modifieds are and today is that cut off point.

i understand that part and if you look at the points fortin has a huge lead. but if the support divisions do get a point fund check from nascar and those points earned this weekend go twards that there is no reason that the modified points should be any different. that would have been a good race to watch. imagine the drama with that one. there would have been more oohs and aahs than on july 4. i am looking at this as a spectator and maybe it would have been ho hum but somehow i dont think it would have. i think it would have been a real nail biter

not the track points the newyork state points they are different than riverhead points. john has 7 wins to chucks 1 win. such a lead that even if a no show would probably win it. (under nascar home tracks). and i just found out stafford added a couple of shows to make up for rain outs

Stafford adding shows will only help with their track points, not regional or Nascar points.

thats what i am saying track points. because it would not change the state points. chargers, trucks, late models and fig 8 are running for track points why not add mods for track points. i guess i am the only one here wondering why they cannot run a make up on a day the track is open for racing and the track is paying out points.
