I remember hearing a year or so ago that Bateman had taken his car to Lime Rock and ran some laps. Don't remember exactly when though.

This would be great, but after Skip Barber stated April '08 that the Modifieds had a small following what changed his mind. Could it be strong ratings on Speed?

probably Jack waived his sanction but if they run for the same purse how can you ask these low budget teams to change the cars over for a road course. They better make it like 25 lap race since the TV series doesn't count cautions - they'll run out of gas. One bad thing about non-road course cars on a road course is the caution laps take for ever.

The TV Tour needs to stick to what made the Tour good and competitive with the small tracks. Jack seems to be getting away from what made this Tour popular. Stick to the small tracks. Running Thompson and now a road course, this is what will cost the teams money. There are some teams on the TV Tour that can't go 10 laps without spinning out all by themselves on an oval what are they going to do on a road course.
