I raced at Mountain (SVS) in January- there was ice and snow on the track and it does make it interesting when the green is dropped. It was FREEZING!!!!

If you go to "The Frostbite" in January- bring torpedo heaters, space heaters/ generators, etc. and wear a lot of layers!

Yeah, Steve not sure where your checking but our local weather (wfmz.com) is saying rain pretty much the whole day Sunday.

Plus it has rained since wed. night...and still supposed to keep raining through tomorrow.

I still say it looks like it starting to break up and move out...i see the rain stopping overnight and we will have to see the track in the morning to see how bad it is...The temps. has risen up into the 40's for tommorrow so it looks as if the rains are moving out sooner then expected and heating up a lil bit...again tryin to be optimistic here... and if im wrong oh well, how many weathermens do you know that even right 50% of the time...

optimistically speaking it hasn't really rained too hard. Local obs stations only reported about half an inch in the last day so its not that much rain. Hopefully the track has taken it well. a little peak of sunshine would be great. or if punchy would go away tomorrow
