I would like to make a special mention to Shawn Wanat, Mitchell Patern, and Don Lasky who made the effort to come up but due to unforseen circumstances were unable to make it in time. I wish I had a little more time at the end of the day to chat! Hopefully you are able to make it up again.

Also would like to mention that Steve Wilson in the 5w lost his mother on Friday and if you couldn't hear the announcer we took a moment of silence in her honor after the lineup was in order for the 4 cylinder race. I am deeply sorry for his loss and offer my condolences...it was a hard day but he held together so well. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time.

Thanks again to everyone, without you guys we couldn't have pulled this off. Thanks for an amazing day of racing...See you all at the championship race

I just want to say thanks again Erin. That was more then Mountain (Lapdance as Uncle Petey likes to call it) would have done for them. I know this first hand. That was truly an act of kindness that could have made for a much worse day had it been the other way around. Thanks again, you guys (and girls) do a GREAT JOB!

I think Buckshot is referring to the fact that he registered for the three drivers who did not make it in time....and paid for transponders for them all. When they were a no show, at the end of the race he was given his money back in full, $210.

Without even making it onto the track, there is no way we could claim that money for either our own good or the purse for that matter.....that just isn't fair.

I have someone that was keeping track of the points for the ladies as he wants to sponsor a trophy for the winner. Right now we are piecing some special things together for the women but as of right now they are all ideas. I will keep you up to date as I get information...and I will try to get a hold of the final points standings for our girls =]
