Looks like Southern National Raceway is getting auctioned off. Lets hope some developer who wants to put put up a mega strip mall or condos doesnt buy it

I have no idea what is going to become of the place, but I seriously doubt it will be a strip mall or a housing development, it for sure is in the middle of nowhere. The current owner has ran it into the ground, and the addition of the GM from last year, Del Richards, who made a mockery of the place and stole everyones money at the end of the year filling out blank checks from the race teams, has not helped it at all. It is going to take a person with a big name to buy it and make it where people even trust going there anymore.
