    Sac-Man

I just saw on the BDR boards that one of our very own NEETS driver, John "The Sac Man" Saccomandi won the 4 cyl. Enduro Championship at Sundance Vacations Speedway! It had to be a close one!

We were thinking of you yesterday while in the garage!

    Way to go!

All he needed was a top 10 to secure the championship and I believe he finished 7th

He looked amazing out there and kept his nose clean! I'm glad we were there to watch you secure the title!

    Congratulations again!

A foot? His back tires were almost over Joe's head! The video from Gary Silverman has a GREAT shot of how high he actually got! For some reason Sac-Man thinks he can fly LOL

That was a crazy jump, though, AND had a perfect landing, on all 4 tires!!! You got a 10 from me!

    Thumbs up Thank You!

Thank you all for the congratulations and words of praise. I have been racing enduros for five years now and this is my first win. I still haven’t taken the checkers at a race but I know that day is coming. I have learned lots from my fellow enduro drivers and enjoy the friendships that we have made.
I think all of us enduro enthusiast are special people! And maybe we can’t fly; but that doesn’t mean we have to stop trying!!!
Looking forward to seeing you all.

HAHA! This was when Joe was still taking pictures while officiating! He asked if I saw that after the race and I missed it...it wasn't until we got the video when I actually saw it, I must have rewinded that about a dozen times just in shock of how high he actually got! I couldn't stop laughing! It sure was a sight!

It was from last year, I want to say the July race but I could be wrong...I only have a 50/50 chance at getting it right since there were only 2 races.

    Frankenduro 2008

It was the Frankenduro 2008. Joe squeesed off a shot just before I launched. It's a great shot. I don't have it but Dave Bentley Jr. got it and posted it on the GSW Fugly racing web site. It's set to a sound clip from Talladega Nights when Ricky Bobby says "I'm flying through the air; This is not good!"

I was there in the stands lol, I remember now.

That race ended with a 4 cylinder car running into a tow truck in the infield as well.
