    Tire question

Did anyone ever try running camper/trailer tires? The treads are both 4 ply(2 poly,2steel) and thr sidewall is 2 ply(2 poly). The only thing different is load range.Camper tire is 1820lbs and car tire is 1554lbs.I see no reason they would not work.Any good advice will be appreciated.Thanx in advance.

I would choose not to. They are made to hold weight not have traction or give any kind of performance. Not to mention new ones are quite pricey.
It would be interesting to see though. Maybe with certain psi?
What does the rule book say?
