    South Boston

Was thinking of maybe going down to South Boston for the Whelen Tour race in April.

How many cars you think will be showing up?

Any of the northern cars going south to get ready for the season?

Any tips about the track? Where to sit? What to eat?

Any thing in the area? Restaurants, motels ,etc?

As far as how many cars show up cant really answer that but I would say around 15.

South Boston really is a gem of a racetrack. It has a nice throwback type feel. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. The also have a sidewalk that goes all the way around turns 1 and 2 which offers great photo ops.

Do they usually run the modifieds early in the program or save the race until the end?

Last year it was a Late Model doubleheader with the Tour and the Tour race split the two Late Model races so it was second race that night. Since this year its just us and the Busch North, I would imagine we would be the first race of the night.
