Read in Area Auto :

1. Albany Saratoga to pay 3000 to win, 500 to start the race in April

2. Lee race in July might be on Saturday and also pay 3000 to win.

3 Heat races at Waterford should be around 3 pm on Saturday and the feature going off on Sunday around 2:45. (And the Speedbowl is getting a new concrete wall put up too. The old Armco barrier is no more.)

Hearing that Hossfan has donated another $500 to the Lee July 10 Valenti MRS race purse with an extra $300 going to second place and an extra $200 for third. This in addition to the extra money from race sponsor Laticrete, and the $500 extra to win from Long Island Mod Maniac.

Is this rumor true Hossfan?

If it is, I will put in an extra $100 for the fourth place finisher as well.

Yes it's true. 300 to the 2nd place guy and 200 to the 3rd place guy. Haven't been up to Lee in over a year, so looking forward to it. Glad to see Laticrete has gotten on board again. And being on Saturday night, it should attract a good field of cars.

Speaking on the behalf of Rowan Penninks teams....... Riverhead and now Lee ....Mark And Gary...{ aka rowans car owners} greatly appreciate it!!!! It goes to show there really isnt anything better then a Mod and the people that go with them!!!

Hope to get to most of them - Won't get to Oxford because of the Whelen tour at Monadnock and probably not the Waterford show in August. Glad to hear Eric Goodale will be making a number of the shows.
