There are 14 Late Model cars here today for qualifying. There will be about 5 more cars tomorrow. The cars that will join the field of Late Models tomorrow are racing today at South Boston.

The Modified Teams have covered their cars. There are areas of rain surrounding the track and a few drops that have fallen.

Late Models are on the track right now for their final practice and as soon as practice is over they will be lining up on the back of the track for qualifying.The Late Model cars will go out for qualifying at exactly 3 PM. There is a line of storms heading this way.

Rain has just about stopped. No track drying efforts have begun. It will take a while to dry the track. At the end of pit road exit there is a huge puddle.
