EEKR season opener

Sunday April 18, 2010 is opening day, for EEKR go-kart racers at Riverhead Raceway. Gates will open at 7:30 am, with first practice starting at 9:00 am. Followed by the first race of the 2010 season. All go kart teams are required to have all safety equipment on hand for inspection before they go out to practice. Which includes a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. Arm straps for all champ kart classes, neck braces, an approve racing helmet, gloves. Either a racing suit or jacket. All these ideas will be inspected by an EEKR officical or you wont be able to race. Please if you can, pass this information on to anyone you race against or know from EEKR go-karting.
