Night race

Is there anything new on NEETS running a night race at Grandview? I'd like to be able to work it into my schedule but I can't if I don't know when.

A strictly NEETS night race is probably unlikely. It supposedly costs $1500 just to turn the lights on. So unless the crowds really pick up or car counts really grow we can only dream.

I've talked with other promoters in the past about the cost of lights, and it is unbelievable! You would be amazed at how much extra it costs when the speedway lights are turned on.

The idea was a good idea.....however it seems the track is not interested at this time....which is funny since it was their idea.....

We'll have to work on a Saturday night show in 2011.....starting NOW!!! LOL!!!

Pick up the car counts!!! Let's get 50 solid each race and we'll get a Saturday night race or two....
