Congrats to my former student in becoming a first time winner in a modified!

The car looked really good with it's LongIslandModManiac / Riley Ave School / Vengilio & Schaefer Stars sponsors.

Now onto Riverhead for the 5000 to win

Those last ten laps were amazing. You had the best in the business, Dwight Jarvis, behind you. what a way to win one.

    Congrats to the Goodale family!

Awesome race! Although I was pulling for DJ it was great to see another new face in victory lane. Congrats to Eric and crew.

If you weren't at the races, Eric was running away with it. Then with 11 laps to go, a car spun causing a yellow. Not even sure who it was since I was so busy concentrating on Eric.

Then for him to hold on to the win, he had one last double file restart. And then maybe the most amazing thing... He had Dwight Jarvis on his bumper, all over him. To hold off one of the best modified drivers ever, was an amazing accomplishment. I have seen Jarvis do amazing things on the track and to see Eric battle him right to the checker made the win 100 times sweeter than if he had just run away with it.
