Again with the calls or non calls. I watched the officials send the 36 to the pits with a bumper - quarterpanel hanging off. That was fine.. What was not fine was that I watched the 81 driving around with the same thing. Look at the pictures, why was that not called. It is like the late model race from last week all over again. The panel was even hanging off when you walked by the car as it sat in inspection.

Besides that it was a good race to watch -- a little rough but good.

Nice run until the flat by the 5 and congrats on a nice run for the 60.

I have been highly annoyed lately by the inconsistency of calls at RR, but I think that the rule of thumb with this one is that the 36 was allowed to run with his fender hanging until there was a caution, at which point in time, they sent him to the pits. The 81 had a fender hanging towards the end of the race, but there were no cautions after it happened. If there was a caution, I'm sure they would have sent him in and would have been heartbreak hotel for him.

I've never seen them stop a race just because a fending is hanging.

Overall pretty good racing on Sat. night.
