    Not a great race overall as even with new pavement, Spencer Speedway still seems

    like it's a one groover. Tire wear was minimal as few guys pitted for tires. That has

    not been the case most of the year on the ROC tour. Chuck had the fastest car by far

    coming from 9th, he was all over the back of Jan Leaty waiting for a mistake that

    never came. Jan is smooth as silk and used a great forward bite to keep that Hutter

    steelhead of Chucks at bay. Classy move also by Chuck as he got into Jan once in

    the late stages coming out of 4, leaving Jan to swerve and save it but Chuck

    pedalled giving the top spot back to him. Proves what I already knew that fast guys

    don't need to abuse each other to put on a show. Thank you Mr Hossfeld.

    The show this week at Dunn Tire should be a dandy.

    Since this track was re paved it back to a one groove race track like it was many years ago.
