Annoyed with the wait!

The wait to get into the pit sucks!!! Anyone else feel the same way!? Can we do anything to make this better for next year? Im in line now.... ahhhh

there is a wait? i show up every race at about 1030 and i get right in. nobody in line at all...im not sure what your hurry is. i get there at 1030 and im still sitting around for hours doing nothing...

Hmmmm.....are you talking about the 'kick everyone out and sign in' procedure?

There really is no other way to do this here since this is Grandview's procedure.........only other option is to have the check in window open AT 8:00 like the pits.....

I understand the procedure to clear the pits to make sure everyone pays. But when you walk out of the pits from being in there since 8am to a line 50 people deep it sucks. But we will still be there at 8am next race!!

ohhhh I see now, I wasnt aware the shack at the gate was not open at 8am. well what the heck? lol. why would they allow you guys in at 8am if they wont open the shack till a later time? from the sounds of it, it is grandviews doing. my advice is to sleep in and show up around 10-1030. that way the races go cleaner, drivers wont be falling asleep at the wheel...

I have to agree with Phil on this one. You get to talk to people you don't pit close to and more importantly, at least for me, you get to listen. You get some tips on how to handle different situations on the track, find out who has, or needs parts, and who has more in common with you than just racing. Social networking without wires.
