    Congrats indeed.

Also nice to see Hemric get a ride in, and post a solid finish, in a "big" car. Surprised Tim Smith did not run.

He went from 4th to 1st in the points in the final race to win the title?? That's impressive. Could we see the same drama on Sunday up north?

    NO
Fleming was the cause of that in front of Seuss, and Seuss and James couldn't stop in time.

James did not dump Andy......the 40 & 4 were jerking each other off with Andy & James getting the bad end of the deal........LW, don't know what he was thinking, if he thought dumping James would not have repercusion then he's not too smart......It may have got ugly, but the 36 was not winning that championship.....Before the deal with the 40 & 4, it was looking like a great battle for the championship was in the making....

Southern Slam says it all. IMHO - a narrow 1/4 mile track with a transition from asphalt to concrete was a poor choice for a championship race. With 19 cars starting, the redraw should have been eliminated. At the most, it should have been limited to 6 cars. The fastest qualifier started 10th! Aggressive drivers have "moved" cars out of the way all season with no penalties from NASCAR officials so why not during this race! Watch the SPEED broadcast in slow motion for the actual who-spun-whom details.

I agree 100 percent on not having redraws at flat 1/4 mile bullrings, what a scam.
