From the pit stands it sure looked like #127 won the top 10 race. phil
The #127 thinks the only thing he got out of that deal was a crushed up car from having to run with a bunch of cars that are 2x his size. I'ts kinda like going into a bar and picking a fight with the 6 biggest guys there!!
did 127 win the race /
the 127 was passed by the blue 16 late in the race due to a big car blocking him.
and I have to agree that it was a bit ridiculous running them together. the track was dry and slick, everyone was all over the place and the small cars took one heck of a beating. im so glad i didnt pay 25 dollars to have my truck torn to pieces. although it probably would have held up better than the cars do, and the fact that its slow so i wouldve just went backwards regardless
like bringin a knife to a gun fight?
like bringing a spork to an ac130 battle. lol
here is a picture I took of the blue 16 on the inside of the 127. it was about lap 5 I believe. it was a close battle, but the 16 ended up crossing the line a good ways ahead of the 127

1 1/2 laps to go and the white big car couldnt seem to hold his line so the 127 could get around him. I cant seem to wonder if the entire 2 races would have turned out much different if they had been run individually or even started the 4 cyc on the back stretch and the 6/8 on the front stretch.
true, very true. but it is what it is, the day was already running long due to the transponder issues before the races even began. the 127 was pretty fast in the 150 lapper as well as the dash. i thought he was going to run away with it. the 16 is usually a fast car too. the track was so slicked over from the big car race, that everyone out there was having troubles. big cars couldnt get traction, they pushing, rears were breaking loose. it would have been exciting if they wet the track a little bit. I think yesterdays race was the worst track conditions we had all season. it dried up nicely, but the issues were the ruts. my left rear wheel was lifting off the track every corner and my speedometer was tacked out in 3-4. I also believe thats why there were some many broken hubs and wheels falling off. well, more than usual at least. but I had a good day so im happy.
and I just realized one thing, you are the driver of the 127...lol. I was not aware 3gracing was your username...

you got it Danger, thats me! Kuddos to you buddy...you always run a clean race! Mine was one with a broken hub in the 150 lapper...good thing to ALWAYS carry spare parts!!
thanks, I knew I wouldnt have a winning vehicle this year so my goal was to be consistent and hopefully pull off a top 10 in points. the truck was very reliable and I managed to finish every race unscathed. the only time I left the track this year was when I had to pull into the infield to put my window net back up, took maybe 5 seconds lol. im very fortunate. all it took was 10th, 12th, 13th, 13th, 13th, 13th, 15th and a 17th place finishes.
not to mention a top 5 in points
